Fawn Island is a small private island located in the St. Clair River between Sombra, Ontario and Marine City, Michigan. The Island is home to about 52 cottages and 20 or so additional lots.

There are no cars on the island, rather all cottages are reached via boat through two canals. A private ferry service transports cottage owners back and forth. Many residents also have boats of their own and owners can park right outside their doors as every cottage has waterfront access on at least one side.

The Fawn Island Owners Association makes the rules and regulations that govern the Island and the property owners. The Island is in the province of Ontario, Canada, approximatly 50 miles northeast of Detroit, MI and Windsor, ONT.
